About Us
Mission Statement
The Federated Arena League (FAL) is a faith-based league providing fast pace, family entertainment that will bring people together regardless of color, race, religion, sexual orientation or political views. Our goal is to provide a diverse and inclusive foundation that will bring generations of football fans together under one roof. Additionally, we will provide the necessary tools and information for independently owned member teams to become successful in operating an arena style football team. Furthermore, the league shall endeavor to treat associated organizations/teams fairly and equally, while fostering an environment of team cooperation among league members. The FAL will focus on maintaining play in the Southeast Region to keep costs low for owners, to maximize their team’s operating capital. The FAL will be run by league management and member teams’ ownership (or designated representative) serving on the FAL board.
League Commissioner
Barry E. Marrow is a native of Raleigh, N.C. and attended Cary High School,
where he was a member of the Imp football team. Following graduation, he
spent two years at Merced College in Merced, Calif., where he was a member of the Blue Devil football team.
Barry is no stranger to football and arena football as he has devoted 13 years
to the game he loves, including playing in the German Football League. After
ending his career as a player, he turned his focus on being the owner of the
Carolina Aviators, a pro arena football team where found his true calling for the game. Barry brings a wealth of knowledge to this venture, not only from a players’ perspective but also from an on-field operations standpoint.
Off Season
Our players aren't just members of a team, they are members of our community. In the off-season, we work with local charities to bring sports and hope to underserved children in our home town. At each event, you get a chance to contribute to these efforts. We believe that sportsmanship and service doesn't stop at the edge of the field.
